La “Volta”, awarded by ACGEP

The Volta Ciclista a Catalunya has been awarded in the category of "Activity, Event or Sports Program" by the Catalan Association of Professional Sports Managers (ACGEP). In an event that took place at the Bellvitge Cultural Center - Gornal de l'Hospitalet de Llobregat and brought together numerous sports leaders managers, the Volta was recognized with this award.

The president of the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya, Rubèn Peris, thanked the people who have made it possible throughout history that the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya has been able to reach the 99 editions with great success, and go on with a firm step towards the centenary of editions in 2020.

Previously, the event was attended by a conference on sports management by Albert Soler, director of professional sports at FC Barcelona.
