Iglú, Mabel Flores and Sula & Cookah P, finalists of the #iCatVolta 2024 contest

From January 9 to 16, iCat listeners will be able to participate in the voting that will decide the soundtrack of the Volta Ciclista Catalunya, both male and female.

A jury formed by members of the Academy of Music, the Catalan Institute of Cultural Enterprises of the Department of Culture, the Tour of Catalonia and iCat has selected, among twenty proposals that have been submitted, "Tota la vida", by Igloo; "Estic prou bé", by Mabel Flores, and "La bicicleta", by Sula & Cookah P with Shala Beatz.

These are the three unreleased songs that have been finalists in the #iCatVolta contest, which will decide the soundtrack of the 103rd edition of the Volta, scheduled between March 18 and March 24 of 2024, and this year also of the women's edition of the Tour. From January 9 to 16, iCat listeners can vote for their favorite on the station's website; the winner will be announced on Tuesday, January 16 at 10 am on the iCat program "Els experts". A double invitation to the Cruïlla 2024 festival and the jersey signed by the winner of last year's Volta, Slovenian Primoz Roglič, will be raffled among the participants in the voting.

This is the fourth edition of the #iCatVolta contest, organized by iCat, la Volta Ciclista Catalunya and the Catalan Institute of Cultural Enterprises, with the collaboration of the Catalan Academy of Music. The winning song of the 2021 edition was "Eclipsi", by Blaumut. "Boires i retrets", by The Penguins, was chosen in the popular vote for the 2022 edition, while "Houston", by the Lleida-based Sexenni, triumphed in 2023.
