Rubèn Peris re-elected vice-president of the AIOCC

The organization approved the new Steering Committee today at a meeting held in Copenhagen.
The general director of the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya, Rubèn Peris, was re-elected today in Copenhagen as vice-president of the AIOCC (Association Internationale des Organisateurs de Courses Cyclistes), the body that brings together the world's leading cycling race organizers, in a vote held at the general assembly.
In the elections held this morning in the Danish capital, the new president of the AIOCC has been elected Javier Guillén, with Rubèn Peris and Thierry Gouvenou as vice-presidents for the next four years.
The president of the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya, Rubèn Peris, has been re-elected vice-president, a fact he has celebrated in particular: "Being part of the AIOCC Steering Committee is not only a challenge but also a great honor and a great responsibility. We work to promote cycling in areas as diverse as the safety of athletes and the public, television broadcasting, sustainability... with the aim of growing our sport and defending the interests of cycling race organizers."
The AIOCC, founded in 1956 and now with 200 members, organizers from around the world, is one of the main players in the cycling ecosystem. Its main objectives include promoting the development of cycling, preserving its heritage, and unifying and defending the interests of race organizers.
