Marc Soler and Àngel Edo discover "els Ports de la Volta"

Movistar Team rider Marc Soler and former professional cyclist Àngel Edo have been riding "els Ports de la Volta" 2019, which will decide the mountain stages of the 99th edition of the race. The ski resorts of Vallter 2000 and La Molina, property of FGC, will be the magnificent scenario of the most decisive climbs of the "Volta" this year. The two videos are now available on the official YouTube channel of the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya.

The breathtaking views of Vallter 2000 and La Molina, the final two climbs of the 99th Volta Ciclista a Catalunya, are no longer a secret thanks to Marc Soler and Àngel Edo. In two videos where you can see the whole dimension of the landscapes of the ski resorts, the two protagonists talk about the secrets of these ports that cyclists will have to face the last week of March.

Stage 3 of the "Volta", starting in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, will end at Vallter 2000, a port of more than 11km, with a medium ascent of 7.6% and maximum ramps of 18%. The final "paellas" are one of the great attractions of a port where Nairo Quintana won for the last time, in 2015.

The next day , the stage 4 of the "Volta" will start at Llanars de Camprodon and finish at La Molina, with a final port of 12km with maximum ramps of 15%. Alejandro Valverde has won in the last two times.
