Thomas De Gendt, will be present at the "Volta" 2019

The charismatic Belgian cyclist Thomas De Gendt has confirmed through his social networks that his program for the 2019 season includes one more year his participation in the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya, where he has already won 3 stages.

The Belgian rider of Lotto -Soudal, who also intends to play the three "big races" (Giro - Tour and Vuelta), took part in this last edition with a big exhibition victory in Camprodon after he was in the break during the whole stage. And he was the star of an iconic photography on the finish line of a stage that initially had to finish at the Vallter 2000 ski resort.

In addition to this last victory in Camprodon, De Gendt had also won Port Ainé in 2016 and in Barcelona in 2013. An authentic idol that has found in the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya his favourite race to win.
