The Volta a Catalunya 101 will make its official presentation on March 9th

The 2022 edition of the Volta a Catalunya has set its official presentation date, which will be held at the INEFC Barcelona. Next Wednesday, March 9th, from 18.45h, the Catalan cycling race will make public all the details of its 101st edition of an event that one more year will broadcasted live on television through the Esport3 channel.
The headquarters of the National Institute of Physical Education of Catalonia in Barcelona will be the place for the official presentation of the Volta a Catalunya, whose 101st edition will take place between the 21st and 27th of March. A historical fact that places the Catalan race as the third oldest cycling stage race in the world behind the Tour de France and the Giro d'Italia.
All the details of the 2022 Volta will be revealed at the event, starting with the complete route of the seven stages of the race, whose start and finish locations have already been confirmed during the previous months.
In this presentation, the official jerseys of the race will be also revealed, which will be worn by the leaders of each of the classifications. Likewise, the official poster for this 101st edition will also be presented and the different Medals of Honour of the race will be awarded.
The event will be held at the INEFC Barcelona from 18:45h and the access will be limited by invitation, in order to ensure capacity control and compliance with Covid protocols. That’s why the presentation will be broadcasted live on television through the Esport3 channel of Televisió de Catalunya.
The 101st edition of the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya will be held between 21 and 27 March with a new start in Sant Feliu de Guíxols and an already iconic finish in the city of Barcelona. 25 top cycling teams that will take the start, with the best teams in the world included in the UCI World Tour, which will seek to take over from the last winner, the British Adam Yates.
