March 16 th 2023 - 17:23 [GMT + 1]

The work wear and safety footwear company Würth MODYF will once again equip the organization of the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya, which from March 20th to 26th will celebrate its 102nd edition, consolidated as one of the most important stage races in the world, included in the UCI WorldTour calendar.

Würth MODYF, professional specialist and distributor in the field of workwear and safety footwear for more than 20 years, will have a prominent visibility at the race, where its image can be seen mainly on the official race bibs, as well as at the start and finish areas.

More than 120 members of the organisation of the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya will wear the official Würth MODYF uniform - official supplier of the race - as well as the Ecofresh safety footwear. Particularly important is the uniformity of the road marking and signalling team, who will work safely in specialised high-visibility clothing.

The road danger signalling elements for the cyclists will also bear the Würth MODYF image, which will enable a higher level of safety for the peloton at those points where the route conditions may pose a higher risk.

"The image of the organisation of the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya is very important to send a message of safety, work and perseverance. Würth MODYF allows us to make this leap in quality in one of the most important cycling events in the world", said Rubèn Peris, president of the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya, the third oldest stage race in the world after the Tour de France and the Giro d'Italia.

"The Würth MODYF team is very proud to be part of and support an event with so many years of history. Both organisations share an image of quality and safety, which gives a perfect synergy to our collaboration", explains Albert Llinàs, CEO of Würth Modyf.

The 102nd edition of the Volta a Catalunya will be held between 20 and 26 March, starting in Sant Feliu de Guíxols and finishing in Barcelona, after seven demanding and very attractive stages. Once again, the best teams and cyclists in the world will be present riding on the Catalan roads, with a luxury participation headed by the world champion Remco Evenepoel, the Colombian Egan Bernal or the Slovenian Primoz Roglic, among others.
