La Volta Catalunya, registered at the UCI World Tour calendar for the years 2023, 2024 and 2025

The Volta Ciclista a Catalunya will continue in the exclusive group of the most important international cycling events in the world, once the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) has informed that its request for the period 2023-2025 has been accepted.

In addition, the dates for the 102nd edition of the race in 2023 have also been confirmed and published and will be the last full week of March: From 20 to 26 March 2023.

The organiser, Volta Ciclista a Catalunya Associació Esportiva, remains among the elite of the best races in the world and will continue to bring together the best teams and cyclists in the world over the coming years in Catalonia.

“We are very pleased to continue to be part of the UCI World Tour calendar for the period from 2023 to 2025. To continue between the best cycling events in the world is a fundamental aspect for the prestige of the race, for the participation and for the repercussion of the event and the sponsoring Institutions that support us", said the president of the organisation Rubèn Peris.

In this way, the Professional Cycling Council, in a meeting held on 2 June, confirmed the registration of the Volta in the UCI World Tour calendar until 2025, provided that the regulations and financial obligations corresponding to this period are fulfilled.

After celebrating its 101st edition with great success last March, the organisation of the Volta is already working to offer a new great edition in 2023, the 102nd, which will again be UCI World Tour.
